Mandy Roberts, PLPC

she/her/hers
Counselor, Central Louisiana

Mandy was born and raised in a small town north of Alexandria and calls central Louisiana home. During the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Louisiana State University of Alexandria, she began volunteering with the CenLA branch of STAR as a medical advocate. This experience with survivors shaped her desire for a career in the mental health services focused on providing counseling and advocacy services to survivors of sexual trauma. Mandy graduated from Northwestern State University in December of 2020 with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after completing a one-year clinical internship providing counseling services at STAR. Following graduation, she continued with STAR as a part time counselor before transitioning into the full-time role in July. As the Central Louisiana Counselor, Mandy hopes to continue her passion in providing support and empowering survivors throughout their healing journey and raising awareness of the impact of sexual violence.
