Kaleigh was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a BA in International Studies, concentrating in Global Diplomacy, and a minor in Chinese. Her desire to seek justice for survivors of sexual violence and her interest in amplifying the voices of marginalized communities stem not only from the courses she took in college, but also her research regarding reformation of the criminal justice system and political responses to social activism. She’s passionate about advancing survivor access to aid and ensuring services are provided equitably. Kaleigh plans to return to school in the future to obtain her Juris Doctor.

When not working, Kaleigh enjoys a variety of activities. She loves baking, attending concerts, reading, watching tv, and most of all – doting on her cat, Athena.
