Alexis Ardoin

Resource Advocate

Alexis is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In May of 2018 she graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Child and Family Studies. During that period, she has volunteered with local nonprofits such as: St. Vincent De Paul and Capital Area CASA Association.

After graduating, she began her career advocating for individuals with developmental and mental disabilities. She is excited to begin advocating for survivors of sexual abuse as an employee of STAR.

She is currently enrolled in HOPE Bible institute with the goal of getting her Doctorate in Biblical Psychology and a license in Professional Christian Counseling.

Alexis has always had a heart to help others. She is determined to be a beacon of light in a dim world and wants to help others shine their light as well.
