Rebecca joined STAR in 2025 as a Staff Attorney based in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Tulane University in 2004 with a Bachelors in Political Science, Rebecca started her career working in Congress, first with the U.S. House Rules Committee and ultimately as the Floor Director for the House Appropriations Committee.

Wanting to return to New Orleans and change career paths, Rebecca went back to law school, earning a J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2017, where she served as a Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law (Vol. 25). After graduation, she worked as General Counsel for Collegiate Academies, where she led all legal matters for the organization, including contracts, litigation management, Title IX compliance, investigations, and policy development that advanced student and staff safety, privacy, and equity.

In her spare time, Rebecca volunteers on the Board of Start the Adventure in Reading (STAIR) and enjoys traveling and playing with her dog and two cats.
