Zoysia Lovey officially joined STAR in August of 2024 after completing a year-long service term with Serve Louisiana as STAR’s Communication and Outreach Coordinator. She was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Production from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her commitment to helping others, she is excited to bring her unique perspective and skills to STAR.

Zoysia is passionate about finding ways to connect with, educate, and engage others on significant issues that have become normalized in society. Through this, she hopes to foster more awareness, promote accountability, and bring about social change in our communities.

In her free time, Zoysia enjoys thrifting, reading a good book, and whatever current hobby has caught her interest.
