Candice was born and raised in the central Louisiana area. She completed her education close to home and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern State University. Candice is a Licensed Professional Counselor and also holds the credential of National Certified Counselor. She has provided mental health services in a variety of settings including adult corrections, behavioral health, and private practice.

Candice joined STAR in April 2022. She strives to practice from a trauma-informed perspective in addition to providing a supportive, safe, and accepting environment for all clients.
