SUMMARY:Trauma-Informed Yoga Class - Baton Rouge
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a donation-based Trauma-Informed Yoga Flow to raise funds for STAR. This event will allow students to get a taste of a Yoga flow that is based on the notion that people hold trauma in their bodies. Trauma-Informed Yoga stresses a safe and supportive environment. The approach rests on somatic experiencing that can help students calm their nervous systems and return to a feeling of safety and control in their bodies. All are welcome. Trauma-Informed Yoga assumes that everyone has experienced some level of trauma or significant life stress. Donations accepted at the class or Venmo: @graceyogaonhighlan.
