DESCRIPTION:In honor of Black Maternal Health Week\, STAR and Birthmark Doula Collective are hosing a panel discussion to focus on sexual trauma\, birth violence\, coercion\, and consent. This discussion is an intentional response to the current conversations surrounding Black Maternal Mortality and aims to give attendees tools to protect\, educate and advocate for themselves and family members during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives: birth.
