Stephanie LeBlanc

she/her/hers
Resource Advocate, Baton Rouge

Stephanie LeBlanc was born in Pierre Part, LA. She received her degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice and a concentration in International Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She spent multiple semesters writing independent research papers on the inequalities that occur within our criminal justice system and hopes to help combat this through advocating for those involved in sexual violence. She has plans to return to school and attain her PhD in Political Science. Her greatest passions in life are helping others in times of need and learning the best ways to serve those in crisis. STAR has given her the opportunity to use her knowledge to make a tangible and positive impact in her community directly. She is very excited to help survivors feel empowered and in control of their lives through advocacy. Her favorite hobbies include sitting at home with her dogs, reading, and going to karaoke.
