A native of Covington, Louisiana, Lauren has proudly called Baton Rouge home since 2003. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in English and her law degree from Louisiana State University.

Lauren’s legal career has included serving as a prosecutor, where she worked closely with victims navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That experience shaped her commitment to listening carefully, explaining the legal process clearly, and helping people feel heard as they make decisions about what comes next.

At STAR, Lauren brings her legal experience and dedication to compassionate, survivor-centered advocacy to the people and communities she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with Shiloh, her spirited Jack Russell terrier.
