Resource Advocate, New Orleans
Gabby is a New Orleans native. In 2017, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans with a second major in English with a concentration in literature. Gabby then went on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans, graduating in 2020.
Gabby has over three years of experience working with sexual assault survivors and has a strong passion for working with children whom have a history of sexual trauma. She is also a forensic interviewer at the New Orleans Child Advocacy Center. Gabby joined the STAR team in June 2019 as a Counseling Intern and is now a part-time Resource Advocate within the Advocacy Program.
Gabby is passionate about working with sexual assault survivors and dedicated to STAR’s mission. She is looking forward to continuing to empower survivors and raising awareness within her community.
