As a Baton Rouge native, Kirsten has a passion for serving the community that raised her. Kirsten received her bachelor’s degree from the amazing Southern University in Social Work. During her time at Southern, Kirsten developed a desire for working with victims and survivors of crime. Kirsten has dedicated her career to working with survivors of crime through her various professional roles. From the start of her career with the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center, to her time with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s office, every role she has held has been rooted in providing services to survivors. As a survivor of domestic and sexual violence, this work means so much more than a job to Kirsten; this is how she ensures that anyone impacted by violence has access to services that will allow them to live the life they deserve.
Outside of the work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her 3 boys and their family dog. She loves nature, friends, family, music, tv, the idea of being fit and organized and continuing to find joy in her world.
